Terms and Conditions

LinguaBOOST is an online English-learning platform operated by AI Business Machines Ltd., a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15429820, with its company website at aibusinessmachines.com. Our registered office is 124-128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. In these terms, "we", "us" and "LinguaBOOST" mean AI Business Machines Ltd.; "you" means the person using the service. You can reach us at contact@linguaboost.me.

• You need an account to use the learning application. You must give accurate details and keep your password secure.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has access to it.
• Accounts are personal. Do not share your login with other learners, and do not use one account to deliver lessons to people who should hold their own.
• Teacher and administrator accounts carry additional abilities — inviting students, creating classes and leading teacher-led sessions. Those abilities must only be used with the learners you are entitled to teach.

If you are under 18, you may use LinguaBOOST only with the consent of a parent, guardian or the school that enrolled you. Schools and teachers who invite learners confirm that they have the authority and any parental consent needed to do so.

• We offer a free trial period that does not require a payment card. When the trial ends, paid features stop unless you subscribe.
• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through our payment processor. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you buy.
• A subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not pro-rate part-periods.
• If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until the payment succeeds.
• We may change prices. Changes never affect a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before a changed price applies to a renewal.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. By starting to use the paid digital service immediately, you ask us to begin performance during that period and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided. Where the service has only partly been provided, contact us at contact@linguaboost.me and we will deal with your request.

When using LinguaBOOST you agree not to:

• Upload or generate material that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate for a learning environment.
• Upload material you do not have the right to use, including copyrighted texts, worksheets or recordings belonging to someone else.
• Attempt to break, probe or circumvent the security of the service, other accounts, or the limits attached to your plan.
• Scrape, resell, or systematically extract the lesson catalogue or any AI output for use outside the platform.
• Use the AI tutors or content generators to produce material at a volume or in a manner intended to exhaust or resell platform resources.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and will normally warn you first unless the breach is serious.

• You keep ownership of the lessons, exercises, answers and files you create or upload. You grant us the licence needed to store, display and process them so we can run the service for you and the learners you share them with.
• We keep ownership of the platform itself and of the lesson catalogue, practice activities, placement tests and other material we publish. You may use them for teaching and learning inside LinguaBOOST, and download the materials the app offers for download, but you may not republish or resell them.
• Content you publish into a shared or certified library stays available to the learners it was shared with while your account is active.

LinguaBOOST uses AI models to generate lessons, quizzes, explanations, feedback on spoken answers and tutor conversations. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate for a particular learner. Teacher-facing generation always passes through a human review step before publication, and you remain responsible for checking material before you use it with students. AI feedback and level estimates are guidance, not a formal qualification.

Placement tests, grading cards and level indicators inside LinguaBOOST are our own assessment of your English, based on your work in the app. They are not issued, accredited or recognised by any official examination body, and should not be presented as an official CEFR certification.

A teacher or administrator may run a teacher-led session inside a learner's space to guide their learning. Work completed during such a session is credited to the learner and clearly marked as teacher-led. Learners are notified when a session starts, and these sessions never give a teacher access to a learner's password, billing details or account settings.

We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party outages and factors outside our control can interrupt it. We may change or retire features; where a change materially reduces what a paid plan offers, we will tell subscribers in advance.

The service is provided for language learning. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or loss arising from reliance on AI-generated material or level estimates. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

You can stop using LinguaBOOST at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, is used unlawfully, or has an unpaid balance. On closure, access to paid features stops and your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms as the platform develops. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify account holders by email or in the app before it takes effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the EU or elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings there.
